Wow doesn't time fly....

So, 2020 was my last post. A lot has happened during that time, there was COVID, Brexit, Wars, and a whole host of personal events for all of us. I imagine many have lost loved ones and close friends and also welcomed new life into the world.

My journey has been interesting, just after the last blog post I started on my journey to travel the world and STOP!!! COVID happened and I was limited on where I could go and a whole raft of restrictions placed on my plans. So I meandered around the UK a little and with Brexit happening Europe was further out of my reach.

I decided to rotate back round to the rat race and got a job working at an animal rescue charity. The job was brilliant, but circumstances forced my hand and I left and ended up in my bolt hole in Wales. After this I have now settled (for now!) in Windsor, UK and have a job as an agricultural engineer.

If you have been keeping up with my IG you would have seen some of the sites from the last couple of years or so.

Not a lot of 'proper' photography happened during this period as I was not totally in love with life or myself during some of this time. I have recently rediscovered my love for photography.

I am finding ways to enthuse myself and this has taken me to some interesting places - in a non-physical sense. I started a camera club to get others involved as there are some truly stunning places to photograph in our area, I am giving a talk on my photography journey so far, and I am looking to sell some calendars that contain my work in.

So where to now??? The future can only get better, I am planning on publishing a book of the local area next year, if the calendar proves successful I will be producing another next year with a local theme to it.
